It consists of finger calculation methods and various calculation-based activities that enhance participants’ creativity. Learning mathematics will never be the same again.
GB Maths is a calculating system that enables a student to calculate without using the abacus. It is designed to improve students’ speed and ability to calculate. Through various activities and exciting exercises, students will be able to speed up their fundamentals in mathematics.
As commonly known to us, the foundation or basic of mathematics is only the concept of addition, multiplication, subtraction and division. Once students are able to master this skill, and with the improved confidence, they will be able to perform their calculating in a faster way. This in return will instill a feel of loving mathematics, contrary to most students’ feelings towards the subject at school.
With increased speed and accuracy, students will find that mathematics is something that is fun for them to ‘deal’ with. It is a student-oriented program where each student learns at his or her own pace.
